pic.london invites you to unleash the transformative energy of collective ways of working, to open up possibilities of making changes that are otherwise unimaginable. It’s not simply about getting you to form a collective (although it’s fine if you end up doing so), it’s about considering collective modes of working more consciously. Even if you like doing things solo you probably still need others to realise your work. 18 participants will be selected to take part in 3 workshops from May to June 2019, resulting in a group show in the autumn. Photographers, artists who work between photography and other media, curators, researchers and writers who are interested in photography and its expanded forms are all invited to apply. The workshops are led by photographer Alejandra Carles-Tolra, artist collective Hal Silver, and curatorial group Hemera Collective.
