“I suggest that racial time is different from the linear progression of dominant time. Instead racial time is a phenomenon where waiting forms the majority of the everyday. It is a time where progress is not charted through the prism of Western epistemologies. In racial time, slavery does not end, it merely evolves, changes shape and oppresses through different but equally violent regimes.“
- Mark Sealy

We would like to share that we are extremely sad and frustrated at the recent events which have taken place in America. We stand in solidarity with all BAME individuals around the world who have experienced for decades racism on daily basis, who are victims of atrocities, police brutality and systematic oppression.

We would like to demand, that in the art industry which holds a majority of people of white privilege, the only way forward is towards a change! One which should happen through education, decolonisation of museums / institutions and inclusion.

Below we have compiled a list of books, essays, videos, funds, organisations & petitions supporting the BLM movement.
