COLLECTIVE WORKING AND EXHIBITING

NOVEMBER 2022
KINGSTON UNIVERSITY

Facilitated by Laura Bivolaru and Lina Ivanova

Revolv delivered a workshop to the BA Graphic Design students at Kingston University, on the photography / moving image specialisation. In line with their upcoming collaborative and group work, the workshop aimed to prepare students for the experience of working together.
The session included an overview of Revolv Collective (how we formed, how we operate), the benefits of working as a collective within the photography / art industry, and an introduction to collaborative working in general. Students were invited to engage with our archive and ask questions about the work we do. The second part of the workshop included collaborative and practical exercises, inviting students to work together with their own images, and to consider and experience the challenges and advantages related to collaborative working, focusing on the idea of trust in particular.
